Founded in 1961 as New Hampshire Dental Service Corporation, Delta Dental Plan of New Hampshire's growth began with the administration of the Teamsters dental benefit program in 1966. By 1976, Northeast Delta Dental was formed as an association of the dental service corporations in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
